The discovery of the current cosmic acceleration by Supernovae Ia observation imposes a big challenge to both general relativity and particle physics. The simplest explaination of the the driving force of the cosmic acceleration is the cosmological constant. Hovever, the cosmoloigcal constant is plagued with the coincidence problem. The tracking solution is a generic way to avoid the coincidence problem. This talk will discuss some properties of the tracking solution. |
